During a meeting with the Council of the Southern Technical University, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Qusay Al-Suhail reviewed the role of the University in providing community service and meeting the needs of the labor market. Dr. Al-Suhail also reviewed the importance of technical education and the role of the employees in developing economy in Iraq via meeting the needs of the labor market and community. His Excellency highlighted the importance of scientific research and publishing in the international journals as well as twinning with universities, providing joint certificates and inaugurating research centers. Dr. Al-Suhail expressed the importance of building real partnerships with different sectors and serving the community.
