During chairing a meeting of Iraqi University Sports Federation, Head of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Apparatus at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Salah Hadi Saleh reviewed the organizational and administrative steps necessary to develop university sports in Iraq.

Prof. Dr. Salah Hadi Saleh highlighted that the meeting included a comprehensive review of several key topics and a discussion of the Federation's vision for unifying its programs in line with those of the International University Sports Federation (FISU), in coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

Head of the Apparatus emphasized the importance of these steps in establishing a solid and organized foundation for the Federation's work, contributing to raising the level of university sports in Iraq and achieving its strategic goals.

For their part, the attendees also reviewed the organizational and financial aspects, and a scientific, technical, and legal committee was formed to review and adapt the internal regulations of the Iraqi University Sports Federation to ensure their compliance with the FISU regulations and the Iraqi sports federations law.

It is worth mentioning that the meeting recommended nominating names to form the working committees in the federation, which included the national teams committee, the competitions committee, the ethics committee, the appeals committee, the disciplinary committee.

It is significant to mention that the Head of the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Apparatus at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Prof. Dr. Salah Hadi Saleh, who also assuming the post as Head of the Iraqi University Sports Federation.
