Department of Environment and Water, merged Ministry of Science and Technology delivered a lecture on bio-toxins and their effects on living organisms. The lecture highlighted bio-toxins which produced by microorganisms such as bacteria and fungi as well as the microbial toxins promote the disease via destroying host tissues and disrupting its immune system. The lecture reviewed that the fungal toxins are the toxic chemical products in the secondary metabolite produced by fungi and can cause illness and death for both humans and animals.
