Directorate of Environment and Water, merged Ministry of Science and Technology conducted a study on designing a magnetic treatment device to improve the properties of fountain water through the atomization process resulting from the magnetic field of the electrode dipole without the need for chemical additives. The study reviewed that the treatment device consisted of a plastic tube surrounded by a number of magnets arranged longitudinally to generate a dual magnetic field that penetrate the tube to reach water molecules surrounded by a plastic wrap to preserve water from external conditions to reduce surface tension and increase the percentage of dissolved oxygen, which contributes in preventing the crystallization of existing salts In water and to deposit on the sides of the tank. The study highlighted that the technology would contribute to the non-emergence of unpleasant smells in the ponds, which appear when they are not turned on due to the transformation of water into stagnant water and the low percentage of dissolved oxygen and a clear resistance to the growth of algal cells such as diatoms and green algae, as well as the device does not require any energy source and one of the eco- friendly devices.
