A researcher in the Department of Agricultural Research, merged Ministry of Science and Technology obtained an international award from the International Organization for Agricultural Development.
The researcher reviewed the integrated control of palm borer insects and the most important used equipment in eliminating the insects that cause serious damages and heavy losses on palm trees, their date fruit and fronds as the pests represent the main pest of palm orchards in Iraq.
