Department of Agricultural Research, merged Ministry of Science and Technology conducted a scientific research on plant tissue culture.
The study included isolating methods of the tissue from the plant to be sterilized and planted in a food environment under sterile conditions.
The study reviewed using differential display technology to analyze the differences in gene expression and technologies currently used as well as reviewing the genetic modification which is an important method in plant breeding via using genetic engineering.
