Directorate of Material Research, merged Ministry of Science and Technology conducted a study on preparing a combination for prevention and treatment of early stages of cancer diseases and mitigating side effects that appear as a result of using chemotherapy and raising the level of immunity. The study reviewed that the formula of lactic that derived from the pomegranate’s albedo acid has a relation with inhibition of cancerous cells, especially in the early cases after the initial diagnosis, so that this formula can be used as a preventive food supplement for cancer diseases after conducting several studies on the drug composition to test its effectiveness against cancer lines outside the body.
