In cooperation with the Directorate of Planning and Follow-up, Directorate of Training, merged Ministry of Science and Technology organized a workshop on the UN Security Council Resolution No. 2462 on the procedures to counter financing terrorist and money laundering. The workshop reviewed the role of the United Nations in implementing the international resolution and the need for the States to form mechanisms to control banks and focus on non-profit organizations in the work of donations, combat drugs cultivation and trafficking human organs. The workshop also reviewed the UN resolution on the necessity of countering the factors of terrorism that threat the international peace and security as a binding decision for all countries to reduce the manifestations of terrorism of recruiting terrorists and combating the financial corruption that used to finance terrorist operations.
