During a workshop was held in collaboration with the Federation of Arab Scientific Research Councils, the London Bridge Foundation, and Specto hosted by Al-Shaab University, Higher Education reviewed that Director General of Scholarships and Cultural Relations, Dr. Hazem Baqer said, that this workshop is part of the internationalization program adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and this program aims at broadening cooperation with international academic and research institutions and building effective partnerships that transfer global expertise, support development and innovation, and open new horizons for Higher Education’s institutions in Iraq, to enhance their academic and research presence at both the regional and international levels.

Higher Education highlighted that the workshop witnessed wide participation from faculty members, academics, and researchers from various Iraqi universities, reflecting the Ministry's commitment to support efforts to strengthen academic capabilities in the field of employing artificial intelligence technologies in the educational and research process.

It is significant to mention that the workshop is part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's programs aimed at developing the academic environment to keep pace with modern technological advancements and utilize artificial intelligence tools to enhance the educational system, improve the quality of scientific research, and elevate the efficiency of academic performance in Iraqi Higher Education Education institutions.
