During a meeting with a delegation of Schlumberger International Oil Services Company, College of Engineering for Oil and Gas, Basra University of Oil and Gas reviewed enhancing joint scientific cooperation, President of the University, Dr. Abbas Hafidh Abbas said. Dr. Abbas added that the two sides also reviewed a mechanism to raise the level of joint cooperation in various fields, especially the fields of implementing and training of students. Dr. Abbas said that the students of the fourth stage of the departments of oil and gas engineering, chemical engineering and oil refining as well as graduates of the previous academic year were interviewed to be employed in Company in Iraq.
