During an online workshop via Zoom application entitled (Blood Gas Analysis Advantage in Combating COVID-19: i15 as Model), College of Science, Al-Qasim Green University reviewed how to classify COVID-19 patients into mild, moderate, severe and critical conditions according to BGA standards as well as implementing these criteria in classifying the patient's condition whether ARDS or not using PaO2 / FIO2 standards as well as taking advantage of the ABG examinations to investigate Septic shock via lactate and PCT levels, Dean of the College, Dr. Zekra Adnan Jawad said. For her part, Dr. Rachel of the Chinese company of Aidan, one of the companies that contributed to contain COVID-19 crisis in Wuhan delivered a lecture on the successful Chinese experience in facing the Corona virus via distributing of 500 devices from i15 specialized in blood gas analysis in Wuhan. It is worth mentioning that 40 faculty members of different specialties in the Colleges of Science, Medicine, Dentistry, Nursing Pharmacy, Pathology, Veterinary Medicine and Education for Pure Sciences of 10 Iraqi Universities were participated.
