College of Science, University of Karbala discussed a master improvement of the optical and electrochemical properties of metal oxide polymers as nonlinear optical materials by the postgraduate student, Mr. Ashraf Hussain Saleh.
The dissertation aimed evaluating the geometrical and electronic structures, quadratic optical and non-linear properties through the introduction of Julolidine.
The dissertation concluded that the studied systems show large non-linear responses of the second order when maximizing the associated bond, while improving the calculated response by a factor of 2.1.
The dissertation demonstrated an increase in the response to the vinyl-substituted glodin derivatives and an enhancement of up to 2.1 in the β-responses to the vinyl-substituted glodin derivatives.
