College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Karbala held a symposium on modern methods in reducing disease transmission.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, aimed at controlling diseases transmission, methods of eliminating them, raising awareness against the risks of transmitted diseases and encouraging families and communities to exercise proper procedures to protect themselves and environment from the dangers of vector and harmful activities.
The symposium reviewed transmitted diseases types from animal to human by vectors as well as reviewing methods of precaution.
