Kirkuk University: On Alternative Medicine & COVlD-19

College of Agriculture, University of Kirkuk organized an online symposium on alternative medicine as a sustainable treatment to prevent COVlD-19. The online symposium delivered three lectures, the first was on plant viruses and COVlD-19 by the faculty member in the University of Mosul, Dr. Nadeem Ahmed Ramadan, the second was on alternative medicine in some of the countries that were affected by the Corona virus, by Dr. Kareem Abdullah and the third lecture was on the role of plants in treating infected people with the virus by the faculty member in the College of Agricultural-Hawija, Dr. Abdul Moueen Shabib Hamad. The online symposium recommended using medicinal plants that boost the immune system to prevent Corona virus as a substitute for medications and adopt a natural healthy diet that free of all types of chemicals via focusing on some foods that increase the activity of the immune system, as well as paying attention to the Eucalyptus tree because of its components are effective, especially quinine alkaloid, which has proven to be very effective against Corona virus.
