Kirkuk University, Industry and Minerals Ministry Inks Joint Academic Cooperation

During inking a joint scientific cooperation mechanism with Industrial Research and Development Board, Ministry of Industry and Minerals, University of Kirkuk reviewed developing cooperation in fields of mutual interest, President of the University, Dr. Sabah Ahmed Ismail said. Dr. Ismail added that the two sides highlighted mechanism of a number of important items such as conducting joint research between the university’s colleges and the board’s centers to contribute in manufacturing and developing of applied research models and upgrading Cooperation them to international standards and holding specialized conferences, symposiums and workshops in the field of community and citizen service, as well as exchanging academic experiences in various scientific fields to enhance the mechanism of cooperation between the two sides. Dr. Ismail continued by saying that the initiative comes within the framework of the university's keenness on achieving integration between scientific capabilities and promotion of joint scientific cooperation between the university and other institutions in light of implementing the development plans and the advancement of scientific and technological realities to develop the country according to the university's vision, scientific strategy and the requirements of the government program.
