College of Veterinary Medicine, University of Kirkuk held a symposium on food and environmental pollution in Iraq.
The symposium, in which a number of faculty members and specialists participated, aimed at disseminating the culture of awareness in the community, addressing the reasons behind water, soil and air pollution in Iraq as well as radiation risks.
The symposium included identifying the concept and types of pollution and the spreading the chemical and biological pollutants and their impact on food, whether plant or animal sources.
