The faculty member in the College of Education, University of Misan, Dr. Kadhim Abadi Hammadi published a book entitled (The Basics of Growing Vegetable Crops in Greenhouses). The book reviewed in its eight chapters protected agriculture, its types and general basics, geographical factors affecting their choice and climatic factors. The book aimed at studying protected farming systems, agricultural operations, examples of agricultural crops and vegetables, such as squash, eggplant, hibiscus and brassicaceae. The book highlighted future prospects of protected agriculture as an integrative pioneer of open agriculture to provide food security for human in most countries of the world.
