A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Science, University of Mosul on the physical and topographical properties of CdSe films exposed to alpha particles and neutron flux by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Duha Hashem Khalil Al-Refai. The Dissertation aimed at preparing thin films of cadmium selenide (CdSe) on a glass floor at a temperature of 50°C and 70°C using the chemical bath deposition technique (CBD). The Dissertation concluded that there is a change in the particle size, a change in the phase, an increase in the gap energy, a decrease in the permeability clearly, and an increase in the absorption coefficient, Auerbach energy and the damping coefficient.
