Department of Accounting Technologies in the Technical Institute of Nineveh, Middle Technical University held a course on strategic accounting, the concept, constituents and objectives. The course reviewed the concept of strategy and strategic planning and the relation of strategic accounting with planning, especially in business organizations, systems theory and management accounting. The course highlighted that the strategic accounting has a big role in efficient performance, effectiveness and the possibility of its application in the Iraqi environment in light of globalization.
