A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Health and Medical Technologies, Middle Technical University on using of a nanoparticle solution as an alternative to the dye used in magnetic resonance imaging by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Dunia Ali Mustafa. The dissertation aimed at improving the visibility of internal body structures via using nanoparticles solution as an alternative contrast environment in magnetic resonance imaging to compare Gadolinium contrast environment with other alternative contrast environment (magnesium chloride, magnesium chloride nanoparticles) in MRI resolution. The dissertation reviewed preparing a solution of Nano magnetic magnesium chloride (MgCl2NPs) according to the method of deep freezing, as well as studying the properties of the solution with the Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM) tool. The dissertation concluded that there are significant differences between the currently used dye (Gadolinium) and the alternative dyes (Magnesium Chloride MgCl2 and Nano Magnesium Chloride MgCl2 NPs).
