College of Engineering Technology- Mosul discussed a master’s dissertation on leg muscle signaling using signal processing by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Sarah Walid Saadallah.
The dissertation the nature of the muscle signal for medical cases and its comparison with cases of knee pain according to the mechanisms of geometric analysis of the single-beam signal.
The dissertation aimed at finding the frequency spectrum of the muscles contributing to leg movement during walking, as well as finding digital filters compatible with the frequency spectrum and testing muscular effort equipment according to fuzzy logic.
The dissertation recommended defining the corresponding filter to determine the signal band, the possibility of determining the logic (levels) of physiological effort rates and explaining the physiological meaning of the phase difference of the muscle fingerprint and the random signal.
