Department of Electrical Technologies –Hawija in the Technical Institute, Northern Technical University organized an online symposium on fiber optic, the most important types and uses. The online symposium reviewed fiber optic, the most important types and shapes and the method of transmitting data through fiber optic. The online symposium aimed at focusing towards the direction of using systems based on the fiber optic to exchange information in order to achieve a number of things, the most important of which are confidentiality in work and speed of achievement. The online symposium highlighted the effectiveness of fiber in transmitting data, as well as the difference between optical and conventional fiber.
