A research team in the College of Science, University of Thi-Qar manufactured 1176 agricultural VTM-1 viruses and hand them over to the Conservative Health Department, Dean of the College, Dr. Haitham Abed Al-Ameer Minas said. Dr. Minas added that the agricultural VTM-1 was manufactured in two experimental phases, producing 1176 samples and providing it to the Thi-Qar Health Department.
