A joint research team in the universities of Diyala, Baghdad and Al-Mustansiriyah obtained a patent on manufacturing force measuring glove of the hit impact of volleyball and basketball players.
The patent, in which granted by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control Unit of the Ministry of Planning, reviewed manufacturing a device that operates via electronic circuit controlled by using a microprocessor and sensors to measure the strength of the hit and save the data of each player individually.
The patent also reviewed the ability of the device to measure the strike power of offensive skills directly in volleyball to identify the power relation with speed.
