Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Tikrit discussed a master's thesis on an experimental study to produce sodium bicarbonate from chimney gas, the Postgraduate Student, Mr. Omar Ghasan Abdul Qadir said. Mr. Abdul Qadir added that the study aimed at benefiting the carbon dioxide from the chimneys in producing sodium bicarbonate in a practical way via low concentrations of CO2 gas, using a practical bubble designed (Bubble Column) and using of sodium carbonate solution to be interact with carbon dioxide.
