The symposium included delivering a lecture by Dr. Ahmed Zand from Schlumberger International Oil Company on identifying oil reservoirs and the obstruction of discovery of oil fields.
The workshop reviewed avoiding the reasons that cause the reduction of oil production and ways to contribute raising the economic feasibility of oil fields.
