Department of Scientific Affairs, University of Information Technology and Communication organized a symposium on mechanisms to counter cyber terrorism.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, aimed at identifying types of cyber terrorism, risks and methods of soliciting others and ways to combat hostile activities by developing a dealing strategy with terrorist organizations according to the point of view of the media.
The symposium recommended inaugurating an awareness unit in each university to hold symposiums and deliver awareness lectures for students to criticize misguided and misleading ideas.
