College of Engineering, University of Al-Qadisiyah discussed a master dissertation on the effect of torsional moment on the structural behavior of steel beams with concrete slabs by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Sarah Abd Al-Amir Ismail.
The dissertation aimed at studying the behavior of cast iron sections under the influence of both bending and torsion moments.
The dissertation reviewed manufacturing, casting, and studying the behavior of composite and non-composite beams subjected to two cases of loading.
The dissertation highlighted manufacturing of twelve steel beams to make composite and non-composite beams with different enlargement rates in increasing the depth of the iron section, which are 0%, 25% and 50%. in general.
