Babylon University: On Down's Syndrome

College of Dentistry, University of Babylon conducted a study on the genetic conditions of children with Down's syndrome in the Province of Babylon.

The study included testing a sample of (50) people with Down syndrome in the centers of autism and disability in the Province.

The study reviewed the genetic cases of patients with the syndrome as cracks in mouth, tongue and lip as well as inflammation of mouth because of the low level of immunity of these people.

The study recommended paying attention to oral health by the dentist of children according to their health problems as a result of non-mixing with society.
