The College of Science, Diyala University discussed a Ph.D. thesis on diagnosing agricultural diseases using the Internet of Things (IoT) based on artificial intelligence by the postgraduate student, Ms. Marwan Adnan Jassim.
The thesis aimed at designing an integrated framework based on artificial intelligence technologies.
The thesis aimed at providing early prediction and diagnosis of diseases affecting agricultural crops by employing the Internet of Things and analyzing environmental and image data, as well as supporting the agricultural sector and reducing economic losses.
The thesis demonstrated the high efficiency of the proposed system. Prediction models achieved high accuracy with low error rates, while the visual classification system recorded an accuracy of 85%, furthermore, the model size can be reduced while maintaining performance levels, making it suitable for practical application in real-world agricultural environments.
