College of Engineering, University of Diyala organized a symposium on the impact of earthquakes on shear forces of the soil.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included delivering a lecture on phenomenon of earthquakes in different parts of the earth from time to time, as well as the devastating impact of earthquakes on the lives, infrastructure of cities and civilization as a result of the severe vibrations of the Earth.
