During a meeting with the Executive Director of the Vienna Center for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation (VCDNP), Mrs. Elena K. Sokova, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Science and Technology and the Head of the Iraqi Atomic Energy Authority, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed aspects of cooperation in the field of peaceful technologies and increasing opportunities for training and joint programs.
Dr. Al-Aboudi confirmed on Iraq’s keenness on developing cooperation with international organizations and bodies to benefit from opportunities and joint training programs in the field of peaceful uses in the field of nuclear technologies.
His Excellency added that the two sides highlighted means of
coordination to consolidate and enhance Iraq's international standing and its
participation in programs, workshops and conferences organized by international
bodies, organizations and agencies.
