During the World Education Forum held in the United Kingdom, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi sponsored signing a memorandum of understanding with King's College London.

Dr. Al-Aboudi reviewed that the memorandum of understanding included a number of programs related to scientific research, twinning, cultural exchange and providing a climate of joint cooperation in modern specializations, especially with regard to artificial intelligence and emerging knowledge spaces.

His Excellency stressed the progress of the policy of global openness in the fields of university education in order to achieve the goals and requirements of sustainable development in Iraq.

Dr. Al-Aboudi highlighted the importance of positive partnerships in the field of higher education and scientific research and benefiting from international universities and international expertise in the field of modernizing programs and curricula.

His Excellency also reviewed that the Ministry's decision to adopt the Bologna Process in Iraqi universities has provided an appropriate environment for scientific and academic exchange and cooperation.
