The Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd reviewed that the Eduba online platform for training and continuous development continues to achieve high-quality performance indicators, reflecting the significant engagement with its programs and its impact on supporting the higher education system in Iraq.
Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd said that within sixty days of its launch, the platform registered more than 44,000 learners, while the number of participants in training courses exceeded 188,000, in addition to awarding more than 154,000 accredited certificates.
The Deputy added that the platform offered 10 specialized training courses delivered by 7 expert trainers, comprising more than 100 video materials covering topics such as scientific research, the Bologna Process, and e-learning, as well as programs implemented in strategic partnership with Clarivate Analytics.
Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd commended the engagement shown by Iraqi universities and colleges, urging educational institutions to continue encouraging faculty members, researchers, and postgraduate students to participate in the platform's programs, given their role in enhancing academic and research skills.
The Deputy continued by saying that the Ministry is currently working to expand the platform's content by launching a new package of advanced programs covering entrepreneurship and innovation, scientific research funding, artificial intelligence, research project management, digital skills, international university rankings, research ethics, technology transfer, intellectual property, technology incubators, and labor market integration.
Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd demonstrated that these steps are part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research's vision to build a flexible and sustainable learning environment that supports lifelong learning and contributes to improve the quality of higher education and its outcomes.
