During a meeting with a group of content creators, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Scientific Research Affairs, Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd reviewed mechanisms for utilizing digital platforms to enhance community awareness and promote the Ministry's programs and projects aimed at developing the higher education sector.

Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd emphasized that the Ministry of Higher Education continues to implement its plans to develop the academic environment and improve the quality of education and scientific research by adopting modern standards to enhance the performance of universities and improve their scientific output.

The Deputy highlighted that the ongoing work on the digital transformation project and the comprehensive automation of administrative and academic procedures, which aims to simplify processes, increase performance efficiency, and expand the range of electronic services provided to universities, faculty members, staff, and students.

Prof. Dr. Haider Abd Dhahd  said that the meeting addressed key aspects of implementing the Bologna Process and the Ministry's efforts to expand cooperation with international universities and support academic and research exchange programs to elevate the standing of Iraqi universities in global rankings.

The Deputy also reviewed the opinions and suggestions regarding the role of content creators in disseminating academic achievements and strengthening communication between the Ministry and the community.

For their part, the faculty members met with officials from the Information Technology Department to learn about the Ministry's digital transformation program. 

The delegation reviewed the detailed presentation by the department director, Dr. Amir Thuwaini, who demonstrated the most prominent digital services offered to faculty and students.

It is significant to mention that the meeting was attended by the Director General of the Scholarships & Cultural Relations, Prof. Dr. Hazem Baqir.
