Under the patronage of the Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abd Al-Hussein Al-Moussawi, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Haider Abdul Dhahd, Deputy of the Ministry for Scientific Research Affairs, Al-Noor University in Mosul hosted a specialized international workshop entitled "The Quality of Implementing the Bologna Process in Iraqi Universities: Reality, Challenges, and Development Opportunities." 

The workshop was held according to the Ministry's directives aimed at enhancing the quality of the system and evaluating its outcomes as the first graduating class approaches. 

For their part, the participants reviewed mechanisms for developing academic performance and exchanging experiences to ensure the achievement of the desired quality standards in Iraqi educational institutions.

It is worth mentioning that the workshop hosted international expert Prof. Burak Arikan from the Republic of Turkey to benefit from international expertise in external evaluation and adherence to approved European standards, as well as waitressing wide participation from the presidents of several public and private universities.
