During a meeting with the Commission of Industrial Research and Development in the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, College of Oil and Gas Engineering, Basra University for Oil and Gas inked an agreement on developing scientific and research cooperation, President of the University, Dr. Mohammed Holaiel Al-Kaabi said. Dr. Al-Kaabi added that the agreement reviewed facilitating procedures for students, faculty members and researchers and exchanging scientific and technological expertise. Dr. Al-Kaabi continued by saying that the agreement aimed at developing the mechanisms of scientific research to support the local industrial sector and the marketing of applied research and possibility of using scientific laboratories in experiments, studies and scientific research, as well as the possibility of relying on the advisory office in the University via addressing issues to industrial problems and localization of technology with the companies in Iraq.
