Environment and Water Department, merged Ministry of Science and Technology conducted a study on the impact of environmental pollutants in the area surrounding the Refinery of Daura.
The study reviewed testing blood samples of the residents in housing compound of the refinery.
The study also reviewed decreasing number of red blood cells by 52% and increasing the difference of white blood cells by 44% for single and acid cells and 48% of ganglion cells for both exposed genders.
