Department of Environment and Water merged Ministry of Science and Technology delivered a lecture on the impact of sanitary and industrial wastewater on the pollution of the Tigris River in Baghdad.
The lecture reviewed the impact of the wastes is due to water scarcity, low levels of rivers, high temperatures, evaporation rate and law treatment of industrial water and hospital waste before drainage to rivers which lead to increase levels of environmental pollutants.
