Department of Environment and Water, merged Ministry of Science and Technology delivered a lecture on the impact of climate change on sea level rise on southern Iraq.
The lecture reviewed the reasons behind sea level rise of the Arabian Gulf and changes in the Iraqi coast via using the software of "ArcGIS 10.2" according to satellite data "Landsat 5 TM, Landsat 8 OLI" for the period from "1992 - 2017" to identify areas that may be flooded In southern Iraq.
