Department of Planning and Follow-up, merged Ministry of Science and Technology organized a symposium on sustainable development in term of climate change, its impacts on environment and confronting disasters.
The symposium included delivering three lectures, the first was on the impacts of dust storms on Iraqi environment, the second was on confronting disaster in case of emergency and the third was on the effects of the environment on UV rays from in ozone layer.
The symposium reviewed results of the studies on climate change in Iraq, improving methods of environmental reality, avoiding natural disasters and reducing effects of UV rays on human eye.
