Environmental Research Center, University of Technology organized its 3rd Scientific Conference on Environment and Sustainable Development, President of the University, Dr. Ameen Dowai Thamir said.
Dr. Thamir added that the conference, in which a number of researchers, faculty members and specialists participated, reviewed that the environmental issues are important in achieving the sustainable development strategies.
Dr. Thamir reviewed pollution risks on human life, environmental resources and all living things and addressing issues of recycling waste.
It is worth mentioning that the conference also reviewed the importance of preserving the natural resources via joint efforts of all state’s institutions such as Ministries of Oil, Industry and Minerals and Health to create clean environment.
