Department of Environment and Water, merged Ministry of Science and Technology delivered a lecture on treating of salt water associated with the extraction of oil.
The lecture, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, reviewed the components of water associated with the extraction of oil which varies from one well to another depending on a number of factors such as geographical location and the way of extracting oil as well as adding chemical materials during the process of production of crude oil.
The lecture also reviewed the adopted method of the treatment of combining the processes of frontal aneurysm and distillation of membranes to separate water from crude oil.
