The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research said that the workshop addressed the current state of these departments and mechanisms for improving their performance, as well as exploring the requirements for organizing work after integrating follow-up functions within the security clearance departments, aiming at defining responsibilities and ensuring the integration of tasks between security and administrative follow-up.

Higher Education added that the workshop deliberated mechanisms for monitoring and supervising the procedures adopted by university and college administrations, organizing the work of monitoring systems, and adopting standardized procedures for submitting periodic reports and evaluations to the Ministry.

The Ministry continued by saying that the workshop emphasized the importance of developing the staff working in these departments, enhancing their efficiency, and standardizing work procedures across Iraqi universities to ensure consistent follow-up and the swift resolution of issues according to established procedures.
