His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi sent a message to his Malaysian counterpart, Professor Muhammad Khalid Bin Noor Al-Din, affirming his keenness on developing scientific and academic relations between the two countries.

Dr. Al-Aboudi said in His Excellency’s message that carried by the Counselor, Dr. Alaa Abd Al-Hassan Al-Attia, in which stated:

" The Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research expresses the keenness and desire of its institutions on deepening the bonds of historical friendship between the two countries and strengthening scientific and academic relations through the exchange of students and researchers between Iraqi and Malaysian universities”.

The message confirmed the support and encouragement of all kinds of cooperation, especially in light of the (Study in Iraq) program that launched by His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi, regarding attracting international students to study in Iraqi universities at the primary and postgraduate levels.

It is worth mentioning that the delegation was consisted by the Iraqi Cultural Attaché in Kuala Lumpur and a number of international academic experts.
