During a meeting with a delegation of the Iranian Ministry of Health, Minister’s Deputy of Health for Nursing, Dr. Maryam Haddati and Director General of the Nursing Department Dr. Ahmed Najatian, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University, reviewed the university future vision and the most important strategic plans in forming and reforming of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Iraq in cooperation with the European Union and UNESCO, President of the University, Dr. Abd Al-Kadhim Al-Yasiri said. Dr. Al-Yasiri added that the two sides also reviewed enhancing the horizons of the joint academic cooperation via submitting ideas and proposals that contribute in the opening of the university on the labor market and meet its needs and involving its students to train outside the country in the Islamic Republic of Iran to obtain skills and abilities to qualify them to improve their practical experience via exchanging ideas and implementing them between the two sides.
