A researcher in the Department of Agricultural Research, merged Ministry of Science and Technology obtained an international award from the International Organization for Agricultural Development.
The research reviewed developing of a new type of wheat that suitable for irrigated cultivation in the middle and south of Iraq.
The research included 498 genetically modified isolations of two nurseries of wheat and corn from International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center.
