In cooperation with Ministry of Oil, University of Karbala organizes a symposium on methods of developing oil sector.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included three axes, the first is on oil economics and policies and development, the second is on rock gas and its impact on the future of the oil industry in Iraq and the negative and positive aspects of this type of production and the third is on oil and gas law.
The symposium recommended how to adopt the distinguished methods in the field of oil to ensure reducing cost of production and the transition from the import of oil derivatives to rely on production via establishing a number of refineries that meet the needs of the country.
