College of Dentistry, University of Karbala organized a workshop on peripheral cells and modern trends in treating them.
The workshop, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, included identifying the peripheral cell and its role in fixing the wall of capillaries, maintaining blood flow within it and its sensitive location around the capillaries in the human body.
The workshop reviewed the reasons of dysfunction of the peripheral cells which caused by diabetes and modern methods of treatment used to stabilize the capillaries in the retina and protect them from rupture.
