College of Agriculture-Hawija, University of Kirkuk organized an online symposium on the modern scientific prospects of paulownia and quinoa plants and their uses to combat desertification. The online symposium reviewed the phenomenon of desertification, which is one of the dangerous environmental phenomena of its direct impact on food security and the quinoa plant as one of the winter grain crops plants that are characterized by a high nutritional value. The online symposium recommended stopping desertification, protecting soil fertility and agricultural production, stopping environmental degradation and protecting biological diversity.
